Scared and going to doc

I have had a uti for a few days and when I woke up today anytime I wipe I see blood but not in the urine. I am scared the infection is in the kidneys. God I am so scared. I have been itchy as well. My mom says it may be a yeast infection on top of the uti. God I am so scared I didn't go to the doc in time. I have an appointment @ 4pm Ca time. No pain other than when I wipe but i am still scared to death.

It's not unusual to have blood with a UTI...

A round of abx will clear you right up. You will be okay! Don't be scared, just get in and start your antibiotics right away so you can start to heal. Lot's of water and cranberry juice helps too.

Sitting over at doctors office and I am so tired from the high spike in anxiety! I want to know I am okay. I googled, and I know I shouldn't but I don't have any signs of kidney infection only the uti signs. They are testing my urine now so I hope I am freaking out over nothing.

I just got done at doc and I do have a uti, some blood in urine and a little dehydrated but everything else is fine. I am so glad I came in, now I feel okay! I am getting my meds right now and then will go home and rest and get better. Thank you all for the support, oh she also said that there is no chance it is in my kidneys. Yay!

I always take the whole course or it always comes back. Learned that the hard way. Lol

Doctor told me that kidney infections are so rare from a uti because our body naturally pushes the bacteria out! She said to not freak out over this.

I came home and went potty and I have started my monthly, this explains so much of why I have been feeling so bad besides the infection.

I feel very silly now.
