Just bothered

I feel like I write in here so often I don't even need to say what I do for a living, but suffice it to say I do phone work where I have to talk to customers about payments.

I talked to this one lady yesterday that really got me upset. She is trying to say she sent a $500 money order in, but our records don't show it as received. So basically it feels like my word against hers. I have asked my manager for help with talking to her, I hope I don't have to talk to her again. I don't want to have the same argument/discussion with her.

I talked to some co-workers, they said it's not a big deal, we might have to ask her to trace her money order and see if it has been cashed.

Anyway, that's what's bothering me today.

I think it's a good idea for your manager to speak with this person...

...I doubt very much that the payment was made, and talking with a supervisor may get her moving.

Hang in there friend...you are doing a great job in a tough position!
