Lexapro withdrawl

Hi all,

I have had a challenging time getting off Lexapro.

I had been on 20mg last september for 2-3 months with a subsequent slow taper down to 5 mg over 2 months and then went off of 5 mg. about 3 weeks after stopping I had severe fatigue necessitating me to go back on 2.5 mg for a month.

I have now been off it again for about 3-4 weeks and feel awful with dizziness, foggy brain, sleep disturbances, and occasional headaches.

I dont want to go back on it again but I want to see if anyone has a similar experience of getting these relatively delayed withdrawl-like symptoms. When I stoppes each time the issues only came up after a few weeks. I was relatively symptom free the first 2-3 weeks off meds.

Any thoughts?

I neglected to mention Ive been taking 5 mg buspar twice a day. Havent been doing any self help actually. I feel medicated, maybe its the buspar, cant tell whats going on.
