Work Panic

So I had a work meeting for lunch and yesterday and the group I was with drank a lot which I in turn had more to drink than I'm accustom and had to go to work a bit buzzed now I am having aever anxiety with the end result which is now causing intrusive scary thoughts of losing my job and those closest to me as my wife and I r in a big f Got due to this please all advice u can give is greatly appreciated. Spoke w a few cop workers and they said I was fine one assumed as I was out so long I also sent a text to my boss about the situation all he did was like my text not sure if that means anything but am in total panic

You are not the first to come back from a professional lunch a bit altered. ;) Also, you were not alone, so you have safety in numbers on your side, I am sure.

The fact that you don't make this a habit...and that you came clean to your boss right away speaks to your integrity...and tells me that your job won't be in jeopardy.

Try not to worry about it, but get to work early and ready to be productive on Monday!
