How important or beneficial is a healthy diet when suffering from anxiety or usually waking up with heart beating fast, feeling of nervousness?

Hello and welcome!
As they say, sound body, sound mind...
...so yes, I do believe that keeping fit has a positive affect in anxiety management, along with exercise and getting adequate rest.
However is the whole cause or cure? No. Some people can do all the wrong things and not suffer anxiety, while conversely, others can lead the healthiest of lives and still need medication and/or therapy.
So, trying one's best to be healthy, but still seeking other treatments if needed is a good goal with balance.😊
