I take Carvedilol blood pressure medicine for my high blood pressure.
I take 3.125 mg. twice a day.
It brings my blood pressure down to a good level. My Dad died at age 62 of high b/p in 1972 because they did not have good b/p medicines at that time.
I know if they didn't have good b/p medicines here in 2017, I would not be doing well, either.
They have many more b/p medicines now than they did many years ago. I would take advantage of that and switch b/p meds until you find one that works.
I would also take my b/p every day, if you are off b/p med now, to see how your b/p is doing. High blood pressure is still known as the silent killer.
You can feel fine, and still be in a dangerous situation with b/p. Know what your b/p readings were when you were taking your b/p med, and compare it to what it is today.
If you see an increase, I think it's time to call the doctor.
