As a bipolar, I had my last drink while I was on such medicine, and I realized it had my system going two different ways, up and down.
So, it was so rough, I didn't want to do that again.
Any change you can quit drinking while on your medicine?
It's good that you got on medicine, so that shows you are trying to combat this situation.
Can you go to AA meetings. There will be people there who have problems with drinking, also.
You say, "Lately for the past two months I have felt rather numb to things, stopped exercising, haven't been progressing. I'm just slowly starting to think my life is going to be like this till the day I leave."
What helped me was, I realized I was being negative about things, and I was my own worst enemy.
When I started to try and solve problems with the idea that I could solve them, rather than the belief that I was going to lose, well, yeah, it helped.
I was defeating myself.
What are you going through right now?
Anxiety and depression, you've already said it. They've got pills for that. Aren't we glad? So that's a good start.
So, how are we feeling right now?
