Colon cancer anxiety back with force

I'm a 30 year old obese (230 pounds, 5'9") male. At the end of last July I went to the doctor for urgency and diarrhea. I had a normal blood test (other than high cholesterol and low vitamin D), normal urinalysis, normal stool test (did not test for blood, only bacteria and parasites), and a normal abdominal CT scan with contrast (other than fatty liver).

When I was collecting the stool sample for the doctor there was blood on it. I keep a test kit handy and confirmed it was indeed blood.

Now my last three bowel movements have produced blood. The blood is red/maroon in color. The first time it was like a small glob on the stool. The second time there was again some on the stool and some on the first toilet paper wipe. This last time there were long streaks going down the entire sides of the stool of bright red blood and none on the toilet paper after wiping.

My urgency has improved but is still there and the diarrhea is no longer occurring.

I've been spending my nights awake and googling my symptoms. They say the occurrence of colorectal cancer is young adults is significantly on the rise and that I shouldn't ignore my symptoms. I'm having panic attacks and am obsessed and completely consumed with paranoia and anxiety about the possibility of having a colonoscopy, and, far worse, cancer.

I'm reassurance seeking and also asking for advice.

Also I've read that an abdominal CT scan with contrast would not show colorectal cancer. Would it show if I took had spread to my liver or lungs though??

These tests were performed just in the last couple months. I actually didn't get seen for blood in my stool as that happened as I was taking the stool sample after my doctor visit. Since all tests have come back normal I actually did not receive any answer or diagnosis what-so-ever. I thought I was in the clear since the main symptoms I initially got seen for improved but now that there is blood I am more worried than ever.
