Help!

Iv got a pimple with redness around it the size of a quarter. Aftertrying to get stuff to come out, a tiny line no bigger then an inch appeared. Its curved amd noe the pimple looms like a question mark. I googled it, and im having a panic attavk because it said red lines are bloid posioning and i can die. Opinions?

First thing is I'm very used to staph and even had MRSA at one point so I know how scared you can be and worried. Take a deep breath and lets tackle this thing.

Do not attempt to squeeze it any further as this can help spread things along. If you notice a red line, just simply take a pen and outline the pimple, bruise, or line itself and start to monitor it. If you start to feel down or feverish definitely head to the E.R. so that you can get on some antibiotics. It will be gone in a week and you'll be fine. The main thing with these are to nip them in the bud before they get worse. You WILL be fine, trust me. I just had another staph episode two weeks ago, and similar to you I had a small line. Luckily I had left over antibiotic ointment, drank a lot of water, and rested. It went away 4 days later.
