I have been taking some anxiety medication for awhile already. It seems to cause dry mouth that won't really go away ya. Does anyone know of anything to do for dry mouth caused by anxiety medication other than drinking water though. Any advice would be nice. Thanks.

Hi AG,
Look into the Biotene line of products. The mouthrinse, and lozenges might be esspecially helpful to you.

Thanks. Do you know if there are any medication for anxiety that don't cause dry mouth though. I think that would be cool to find one that don't ya.

AG,
That is hard to say, because everyone has some difference in reactions to any given med.
However, if this is the worst s/e that you are dealing with...but the medication is performing well to manage your anxiety, then you may want to just try and use the mouth moistening products and consider it a trade off.
Hoping you get the relief you need!
