I think a lot of us are in the same boat, so this is a great place to find support. I also have a lot of stomach problems so I know the frustration that goes with that. At this point, just do all the tests that you need because you will not be able to relax until you do (yes, the process will be scary and stressful). Hopefully, it is nothing. I had my gallbladder removed years ago and the procedure was simple and a colonoscopy also and the worst part was to prepare for it. So hang in there, try to relax, exercise, stay busy until this passes.
I know we always anticipate the worst and yes I also feel embarrassed that I am so dramatic. But anxiety is also a disease and it is not your fault you have it. You would't feel embarrassed of having high blood pressure for example.
Just keep trying your past and soon you will know if there is really something and deal with it. Best wishes.
