Hypothyroid & Anxiety?

Hi.
I was wondering if anyone here has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism? I had been borderline hypo for a while and recently my TSH numbers have gone up, so I'm over the line and have it now.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with medicating hypothyroid and can talk about how the condition interacts or worsens (or anything) with the anxiety they already have been dealing with.
I had tried levothyroxine a while back when I was borderline, but the medication actually made things worse and caused new symptoms which stopped once I stopped the medication.

I went hyper at one time. My anxiety went through the roof as in I was feeling like I was crazy. Once they got it down my anxiety level went down with it. I had already had anxiety but being to high made it 1000 times worse. So, in my case it was the opposite of what you're saying. High made my anxiety much worse than low or normal.
