Hi Honeyeyes and welcome!
I am so sorry to hear that you are having a rough time at the moment...(and sorry for the late reply, my family has had a virus we're passing around for almost 2 weeks now...caring for others and sleeping as much as I can!)
So if I am understanding you...you were on meds prior to your pregnancy...went off until you gave birth...and now the anxiety/panic is creeping back and you are starting to take your Rx again?
How are you feeling today? Did your Valium kick in and help stop your attack? Benzos are great at stopping symptoms in their tracks...and have little in the way of side effects. Taken as directed, you should find this to be a good medication for the as needed acute anxiety/attack.
Do you use coping skills as well for your managment plan? IMO, this is a must for anyone's daily regimen to feel your best possible! If you need fresh ideas...please see our Resources at the top of the main forum page here for great material.
Keep posting with us as well if you find it helpful. We understand, care and support is key!
Talk soon,
Scaredy Cat
