Does anyone get excessive itchiness when having a lot of anxiety. I have had this on and off Over the years but recently it's driving me crazy and wondered if anyone else Experiences This . It seems to be mostly in my scalp but also occurs all over my body and is extremely frustrating.

Anwes,
Yes, I attribute it to over active nerves. An annoying, but harmless symptom. As long as a skin issue and/or allergies have been ruled out...you can probably chalk this us to another effect of anxiety.

I have the same issue. When my anxiety is up, I feel itchy too. My scalp and face are the culprits lately.

happens to me also. I recently had an outbreak -real bad nothing helped. discovered if you take a double dose of zantac -the heartburn med-not Xanax along with an antihistamine like Zyrtec -it stops the itch . really works. it worked better than even prednesaone
