A Lot on my Mind today

Hi my name is Rich, aka Older Guy.

i've been up since 7 CT, obsessing about my various problems. I didn't even think to write to you folks, guess I have gotten out of the habit.

First and foremost is my computer screen. It has been flickering and I've tried a couple of things that were suggested on the HP website. So far it is not flickering but that doesn't stop me from clutching every little while worrying that it's gonna go kaput. Then I obsess about calling computer repair, how much it will cost, and fear (unfounded, I have tested it a few times) that our dog will growl or give computer repair guy a hard time.

I have had trouble with my right knee. I sought treatment and they diagnosed it as trouble with the tendon. I went to physical therapy for 4 weeks and things were better. Now last night and this morning it's hurting in the same old way. I guess I was supposed to continue my exercises. That is just not me - i don't have the self-discipline to do that, even if the alternative is to get the pain back.

And a pain in my left foot. Minor but it worries me.

What's going on with the worry about physical issues is that for the last few months or longer, it has seemed like one thing after another. High medical costs that grow very quickly.

And I have a cyst/bump on my left elbow. Supposed to see about that fairly soon.

That's all I have. Would appreciate any support or just to know that someone has read my post.

My leg is still hurting today. Sometimes a little, sometimes medium. Not as bad as yesterday. I have taken ibuprofen and meloxicam. i also have a product called Biofreeze which relieves joint pain. It is unusual for this pain to be continuing. I have a doctor appointment for next Thursday.
