Hi AK,
I have found that Positive Mantras are my key go to tool for relieving physical symptoms. Our internal dialogue directly effects our mood, which then triggers/exacerbates the sensations that we feel in our bodies when anxious.
Even subconscious negative/fearful thinking takes its toll...so countering any anxiety that we feel with positive reassuring statements helps reverse the undesired symptoms.
Some of my go to mantras are:
"I am okay, this is just anxiety making me feel this way." and "I have been through this before and everything turned out fine." "This is just anxiety, it can't hurt me."
It seems very simple...and it is, but it's also a difficult practice/discipline to keep up with when you are swept up in a panicked state...
...so be sure and practice saying the phrases to yourself on a regular basis. With time, you'll find that your overall anxiety levels will be lower...and you'll be able to put your skills to work if you do have an especially challenging time with the anxious feelings.
