Yes, YSC - I am in the same boat you are. This health anxiety is tough!!
I have been afraid of having MS and cancer the most, but other conditions sneak in there too, depending on what symptom I'm experiencing or even what big health scare is in the news.
Tonight I am having pain in one side of my throat and trying so hard NOT to Google and not to focus on it, BUT also not ignore it... It's such a fine line; you don't want to fight the anxiety, you'll lose, but you don't want to focus on it too much, it'll take over.
Therapy helps. It can take time to find the right one and it is hard work, but it does work when you find the right therapist.
I'm sure medication helps too, I just haven't found the right one yet.
My husband is a very big help for me and I lean heavily on him when things start spiraling out of control. I also try to find little things to try and make myself feel comfortable and nurtured as often as possible (hot baths, watching my favorite movies/shows, drinking warm teas, etc.).
Hang in there!
