TMo,
It sounds like a benign muscle pull to me. The telltale sign being that you can 'manifacture' the pain with a specific movement.
A more severe/uncomfortable injury to that area is costochondritis...which is an inflammation of the connective cartilage in the ribcage. This can happen with unusual movements/exertion, such as what you did when moving the Christmas boxes.
Rest and no more exertion is the best and quickest way to recover.
I hope you find relief soon!

Thanks for your response.
I am thinking it might have to do with my sleep posture or something else. Like today I noticed there was some pain whenever I breath. Feels like a strained or pulled muscled. It may be my sleeping posture.
I am trying to stay positive and not let my mind think that it is somehow heart related. I have doubled down on my diet which wasnt bad before but now I am becoming very strict on what I eat. Like for dinner a few nights ago, I had a vegan dinner that consisted of an avocado, apple, green tea, blueberries, and walnuts. That may seem excessive for a 27 year old but I feel it is better to start sooner than later. Today I had plain whole grain oatmeal today for breakfast. I am considering baking a sweet potato for dinner tonight as well as broccolli.
I thinik my hypochondria has affected my diet. Is that good or bad if the result is positive?
Sorry for the rant but it has been a month since I have been online so I wanted to let everyone know how I am doing.
