I think as long as you can maintain a steady BGL (blood glucose/sugar level) that you should be fine.
Increasing protein, vegetables/fruit and complex carbs, while reducing sugars and simple carbs should have a good effect on your anxiety...as long as your blood sugar doesn't get too low...so be sure to eat small, frequent meals.
