Going into the doctor for a routine visit and tests can help you to catch anything early that might be lurking. Wouldn't that be better than finding out too late? I would think it would be. It would be for me anyway. But I don't have bad health anxiety so I am lucky.
I know that this is difficult. But if you go and everything is good, you don't have to worry about it for another six months to a year depending on how often you do that. I get blood work about every six months, but I try to stretch it out as much as I can. I always have to get fasting blood draws and I hate them.
If you can't go for yourself, can you do it for a family member or somebody else? The people who love you would most likely like to know you are fine. And I am sure you will be. Tackle that blood pressure too... I take two medications for high blood pressure. Cholesterol, diabetes, fatigue, depression anxiety and I am sure that there is more there. Yes, it gets old fast. Complicated on Saturday when I have to fill the pill boxes. And it goes on and on.
I hope you make it to your appointment. Once you get there it will be easier I am sure. Hang in there and really try to go.
Hugs, Karen...
