Years ago, I was seeing a psychiatrist who made me feel nervous when I'd see him, as he wasn't the warmest guy in the world. And I was generally a more nervous person back then anyway.
Since then, I've been working with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practioners who are warmer. And I'm calmer nowadays in general anyway. Hence, I feel very little anxiety when I pay a visit to the doctor's office.
Also, I've been doing well emotionally for years. So when I see my psychiatrist (once every two months), I have no reason to be nervous because it's not like he's going to put me in the mental hospital.
