I am sorry that you are feeling anxious about your upcoming trip. It is not unusual to feel anxiety during happy/positive experiences because our brains often don't differentiate between stimuli...in other words, any event, good or bad that causes us intense emotions/feelings can register as stress.
Add to that the change in routine, and the added unknown factors of travel...and you have several triggers for those of us who are challenged with anxiety!
Try not to be frustrated with yourself, but rather be proud that you are willing to face your fears and go anyway. That is a huge win! Many people choose not to...
I really think, like me, most of your worry is anticipatory...and that once you get there, you'll have a wonderful time.
'Pack' your best coping skills of course, and work them daily! You can do this!
Have a wonderful trip, and post as needed...we'll be here if need be. (but I bet you won't need us!)
