Hey there,
I went about
two weeks with palpitations every day. I went to three different doctors, checked for murmurs/MVPs, and had an EKG. Everything is normal. Except for anxiety. I can only speak for myself but brains are tricky tricky. (A few months before I felt like I couldn't breathe for almost three weeks). Anxiety can cause palpitations which can, of course, cause more anxiety and more palpitations. It's a vicious cycle as I'm sure you know. Perhaps you could do some reading on "health anxiety." I bought a few books on it (versus reading the internet) and it has helped me a lot with how anxiety manifests physically, and offers a lot of tips and tricks. And from checking on your past posts, it seems health anxiety might interest you (e.g. "Overcoming Health Anxiety" book). Anyways, good luck and be well. As a side note, prednisone can cause your heart to race as well.
