Ultra sensitive nipple

Please help me, my left nipple is so sensitive. If I touch it, I feel this weird sensation like a sting, it scares me because my right nipple does not feel this way! It also lasts for a minute afterwards. I am scared of breast cancer, has anyone experienced this before?

Generally (not always though) breast cancer (if it is a cancerous lump) will be on the outside of your breast. The side that faces your arm. When the nipple is involved it will usually bleed or have some type of a discharge. I just think you have a super sensitive nipple. Can you call and talk to a nurse or your doctor? I know you have been concerned for a bit. Nipples are very sensitive, but if you are concerned, I would call the doctor or nurse and ask about it. Maybe a mammogram if you can get one at this time? I hate mammograms. I am over due to get one. But they are so uncomfortable. But worth the annoyance.
