Can Augmentin cause your anxiety to be worse?

I have been struggling with a sinus infection since the beginning of December and I am on my 2nd day of Augmentin.

I've noticed that I'm more anxious, feel like my heart is beating harder than usual and I feel like Augmentin is the cause. And 8 more days to go on it, too!

Please tell me I'm not alone in feeling this way when taking a stronger antibiotic such as augmentin!

Hi. Never experienced increased anxiety or anxiety using augmentin.
Possibly it being stronger may have an impact or because of the med combo effect.
Discuss with pharmacist.
Augmentin is stronger and can knock ya about a tad.

8 days....ride it out...if ya can.
Burn incense...calm the mind.
