Anyone here tried Cymbalta (Duloxtetine) for anxiety?

I am thinking about trying it, but I am concerned about the activation side effect, as I have found SSRIs in the past to be activating, initially, and I understand that SNRIs can be even more so.

Hi

Yes I have been on Duloxetine and found it to be a good medication for anxiety and as a bonus it also helped with my chronic pain condition.

I didn’t find it that activating compared to other antidepressants I have tried over the years but it did give me night sweats which is why I eventually choose to change to a new medication 💊 and it was a difficult one to discontinue.
