Hello all..
I have some pretty bad sinuses and allergies and I have dealt with them pretty well for a long time. Drips,, snoring,and soreish throat,, With the whole C19 thing I decided to get the vaccine. So I know I'm protected but when my anxiety flared up this time I started getting flushing and hot flashes. Not a good thing when you think it's a fever and get panicky.. along with stuffy.ish nose and sore.ish throat..
Realistically I know it's fine but when anxiety does what it does....disaster...

Did you get it very recently? It's completely possible it's only anxiety - I didn't feel very good after my jabs, though. But nothing so serious that a nap didn't take care of it. If you were to have a 'bad' reaction, it usually happens in the first 15-30min. Some people do get a fever, but it shouldn't last longer than about a day. So whatever you're feeling, at least it sounds like you're in the clear.

I know it's the anxiety.. having trouble overcoming the physical symptoms.. they come and go just can't overcome the ""what if's""

Sure, I get that - but the good news is that doesn't sound like anything could be seriously wrong (even if you're worried otherwise). Sometimes healthy distractions are what's best when you can't reason yourself out of it. For me, a long walk often does a lot. At the least it helps reminds me I'm pretty healthy / safe (if I really were sick, I wouldn't feel up to it).
