Just Feeling Odd and Uncomfortable

What were you doing when you didn't feel weird and didn't write in?

Can you walk around the block? Can you visit a senior citizens home and talk to some of those people or play checkers?

Can you volunteer at a hospital and deliver items to various rooms, etc., and talk to some of those people who could use some company? Walk a dog at a kennel?

Take a bag and pick up trash with gloves on around the streets of your neighborhood?

Have you had a time in your life where you had too much going on, and now you're trying to reverse engines and keep everything as calm as you can for as long as you can?

I'm in that stage right now where I felt I did too much and wore myself out, now I just want to do nothing and try to rebuild myself mentally and physically. No physical activity, no mental activity. Just sleep as long as I can, then a good nutricious breakfast and then go back to bed for a nap.

Nothing. I want to see how long I can do that.

Sounds like you do have artistic ability.

I was recently inspired by a Christmas card that said something like "Merry Christmas." So it doesn't take much.

So, fashion shows get you going. Women's ice skating does it for me. It's in my genes.

What type of museums do you want to visit? Art I hope.

Hi Rich, I just wanted you to know that so many other people feel the same way as you sometimes. If you like to keep busy you might like to look at a couple of these creative ways to be an artist! There is really a minimal amount of material to buy and you might discover you have hidden talents!

1. sometimes I am me, said, “I am learning to garden, and now i do really ace mosaics” which net said was making art with stone, ceramics, etc.

2. Lanie had 3 websites which showed how to do some forms of art.

They involved painting with steel wool. painting using a brush and other items and painting a tree. All involved oil dots on the surface and combining the colors with an instrument. It didn’t seem to involve the same skills as just painting objects on canvas.

By clicking on the websites, it was enjoyable to watch and might give people some ideas for art forms.

In the same vein as Karen, I suggest you look around for volunteer opportunities. Many don't take a lot of time and can be quite fulfilling.
