Hi everyone.
I do so well then out of no where boom anxiety kicks in.
After eating dinner the other night (a cheeseburger with onions) yummy but bad idea. I felt soooo yucky all night with indigestion, heartburn and gas ( I laid down not long after eating, clearly a terrible idea). It finally started to get better within a few hours. The next day I still felt kind of not great but it was better. I went outside to shovel the deck from snow and I felt like a tingle in my chest and BOOM my anxiety said ummm heart attack, your having a heart attack. Mind you I’m 34 pretty healthy, overweight but no diabetes or high blood pressure or cholesterol, so I feel it would be highly Unlikely. But my health anxiety has me going now. I’ve since had left arm pain and some pain in my back and I know these developed AFTER my anxiety triggered but still I’m freaking out. I know it’s not going to get better until I stop worrying and tell myself it’s not a heart attack. I can’t really afford the $200 copay for an ER visit when I really highly disbelieve it’s anything other than my anxiety seeing an
opening for rearing it’s ugly head.
has anyone else had similar experience with a quick symptom trigger then boom for days your noticing the effects. Health anxiety is huge for me any pain or tingle and I’m hyper sensitive to it..any help or reassurance would be appreciated. Thank you.
