Hello everyone, I recently got my second dose of the Pfizer Vaccine and felt extremely ill for about 3-4 days. Went to urgent care and they found inflammation in the lining of my lungs . Fast forward time and I don’t quite feel like my self. Not sure if I’m psyching myself out or if something really is wrong . Have any of you felt any side effects ?

does the inflammation pertain to any previous illness?
no dr, but could the inflammation be pre existing, i mean as something already built up prior to the vaccine?
Yeah, possibly freaking yourself out. What info did you receive from the hospital?
Anything serious you would have been admitted.
Discuss these things with your General Practioner. HT

A lot of people got feeling under the weather with second vaccine. I didn't though. Third vaccine I was sick for a few hours. Mostly body aches. I think different people have different reactions. I hope you are feeling better now. As HT said, a talk with general practioner may be needed.

I had a bad experience with both the first and second Pfizer shots, and have opted not to get a booster for now. After the first I had mild symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis (a pre-existing condition), but I was able to ward them off after about a week. The day after the second shot is when I started having severe anxiety, which is what landed me in my current predicament of needing psych meds. While I cannot prove the vaccine was responsible, the timing is pretty suspicious.

So, it may not be all in your head. I opted to get both shots because I want to be a responsible citizen but am scared that my particular physical constitution may not handle a third shot well. To avoid getting sick, I mask up still when I leave the house, even though nobody is required to mask here in NYC anymore.

Since masking is so important, I typed in "best masks for covid" in search engine and there came up best 17 masks.

Best one they came up with was N95 respirator 20 count for $35 a box at Amazon.com.

(It says, "The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has updated its mask recommendations to note that N95s offer the best protection.")

The reason for this is, “most disposable surgical masks do not offer a sufficient level of protection against airborne viruses, as these loose-fitting masks are designed at keeping out particulates and fluids. An N95 is much more effective, as it forms a close seal around your nose and mouth.”

I have the 3-ply disposable masks which block "particulates and fluids” from coming in the front of my mask. But they are not good at airborne viruses getting into my mouth/nose from the sides of the mask.

The N95 masks cost $35 for 20 at both Amazon and Amston.

The N95 folded is $65 at Amazon for a box of 20.
