constipated for nearly a month!

Hello everyone, I am a 42 year old female and I am on my wits end. I NEVER had this problem but I Have been constiptated for nearly a month. I mean terrible constipation and bloody sad

(( I am so worried iI have osme cancer (I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago) I am thinking pancreatic or some GI!!! PLS HELP ME I AM PETRIFIED!!! has anyone gone through this out of nowhere?

Mayoclinic.org says, "Treatment for chronic constipation depends in part on the underlying cause. However, in some cases, a cause is never found."

It's good that you had a colonoscopy 2 years ago. Youi've got a lot of good things going for you. Focus on those.

Can you tell us some of the good things you've got going for you?

What are your eating habits? I eat a lot of fruit, rarely constipated.

Are you drinking enough water, getting enough daily activity? Do you take pain medication? Have you made an appointment to see your doctor? Underlying disease such as diabetes and thyroid issues can cause constipation, it's probably time for a full physical.

miralax is what they gave me for constipation at the ER . it worked. takes a few days sometimes
