Went to new primary care doctor that understands

Hi All,
I just got back from my pdoc appt. and I REALLY like this pdoc! yeah
Although I had reservations because of him being a guy and us being from different cultures, the visit went great! I will see him in another month from now and he is willing to work with me financially. He used to work at the mental clinic I've been going to for all these years and he didn't like it there. He said that they are told to keep interaction with patients to a minimum. Patient goes in, doc asks "how are you doing?" As long as you don't say you're suicidal, it's "Here's your prescriptions and I'll see you again in 3 months." Well, friends, he was right on the money! That's EXACTLY how it is there! I am so glad that I went to this pdoc!!! cool yeah

This pdoc doesn't want me to increase the Paxil CR to more than what I'm on at 12.5mg and says to quit the buspar. I'm to cut the zoloft down to 50mg for 5 days and then quit it. If it is too hard, then to take 25mg. I can call if I have any questions or concerns. He seems really smart and kind. Certainly empathetic! So we'll see! I have good vibes though!
