Hey guys! I'm sorry I don't have time to reply to any threads today, as I have work to and then have to dash to the airport (home to the states for my bf's wedding), but I have a question for you about
the paxil I'm taking...
I got panic for the first time and had several attacks a day for two months
Started paxil and have been on it for two months with only two panic attacks...
The question: I've moved from a job I wasn't happy at in a state I hated (CA pulling exotic plants) to a place and job I love (Poland, teaching writing), and I fel great great great! So do you think I could try starting to ween myself off my meds and my panic is gone, or do you think it would come right back? Let me know what you think!

I think you need to confer with a doc you could also be feeling lots better due to the meds and the move
Please do not just quit meds cold turkey
Talk to your doc and hope to hear from you soon

I agree talk to a doctor about
it. When you wean off of Paxil you have to do it very slowly. I was on Paxil and then Celexa for about
2 years and I weaned off of it before trying to get pregnant, 6 years ago I was at a different place in my life and I was feeling a lot better too. I went off of it with the understanding that I might someday need to go back on it. I still get panic attacks sometimes, but not nearly as much as I did when I was first diagnosed with PA. I am a strong believer that events and circumstances can bring on PA. A couple of my friends developed PA during turmulous times in their lives, and now they are perfectly fine. Glad ot hear you are doing something you love!

I would stay on the med for 6 months and learn panic attack coping skills and and relaxation before stopping the med
