Hi dillon, im sorry but im gonna be just like that when mine leave......i will want to spend all my time going from one to another im afraid, (more afraid for them having to put up with me hehe) but, something we all have to deal with eventually huh? doesnt make it any easier im sure.....

Empty nest is very hard to deal with. My oldest son has been gone for 10 years and he's in the Airforce comes when he can. My middle son and my youngest son both travel for weeks or months at a time with the company they work for and it is so hard to get them all here at one time. I cry to have all my son's under my roof in bed asleep at one more time. But the pride I have for them is all worth it I would hated to have to still be supporting these grown men.

I get triggered by guilt....what I've done, what I haven't done and what I might do.  Talk about catastrophising!!! I don't think I'll ever be good enough.

Any sort of health issues triggers mine. Headaches, stomach aches, just overall feeling bad. The thought of dying at any second. Crowded places also throw me into one..like the mall. My kids health. and I am sure a million other things. To TRY and control it I take my ativan, or Ill come on here and just read. :)

Some of the triggers for my A/P are:

Driving anywhere unfamiliar
Driving in the rain or in bad weather
Driving in the dark
When people are sarcastic to me (this has happened a lot lately, and I really don't have a clue why this is happening)
Worrying about my family
Worrying about health issues
Crowds in general

My meds and therapy both help me deal with it, but sometimes it still gets the best of me. I'm working on it.

Great thread to bump Lyn :-)   I HATE trying on clothes, ordering food in public (and coffee) and yes whining kids that get left unattended (I love em, but my brain bleeds!!)

I have trouble ordering things not completely in the menu. Like subtituting things I dont do it unless I already know it can me done.

Right now, I am having a A/P attack. Because tomorrow I have to face a exam. Its giving me all the jibbers. Beside that, if someone hoots the horn in a car, or the bell rings at home, I get m attacks.

I also can't wait without seeing my children. Man! I will be a bad empty nester when my time comes.

I have too much on my plate, no job, no money.... and it is demanding that I do this test tomorrow very well, but I don't have any strength. Please pray for me too.....

Mine are crowded stores and if I'm running late for appts. 

I shop on days when I know people are at work and stores are semi empty.  And I am usually early for all appts but I rush my ass off to get there.  My mom was the same way but I never realized she had anxiety till I was diagnosed.  She self medicated with alcohol and died from scirrosis. 

I have a 3 year old little girl and having a panic attack in front of her is another major fear.  So I seek therapy and am on zoloft.  I am doing relaxation therapy to talk myself down from attacks now. And I find that exercising helps.

When it comes to "Fight or Flight" response I choose to fight my way through it but know when to give it a rest

My fibromyalgia flares brings on anxiety and panic. When my body is in constant pain I get afraid, but I know its not life threatening. Sometimes too much excitement like the holidays, and when my kids are going thru a tough time.
I take my xanax, try to eat right, and rest my body. If it gets out of hand and I find myself in a complete panic attack, I let my body go thru it, until the point of exhaustion. Kinda like the fight or flight reaction. I am exhausted for days, and
then I start to come around slowly. After the attack, its hard for me to go out of the house, but I think........what can happen to me???? Its the unknown and that is
the hardest part of it all. Dont know if this made any sense............

My anxiety gets triggered everytime i think ther a phsyical threat to me, dark alleys, crowed places confrontations. I deal with it by trying to go wiv the flow remembering eventually the feelings will pass.
