Does anyone ever have times where you are talking to someone and going to tell a story or something and just totally forget what you were going to say?? I know its not really abnormal to forget sometimes, but there has been a few times that Im getting ready to tell a story or something and just completly forget, then I like pause and have to think about what I was gonna say, its kinda scary, the other person just looks at me like are you gonna talk????

All the TIME!!!! UGH it bugs me. I do it all the time!!!

That or I'm about to do something so I walk to the part of my house I was going to do something... and I just stand there... like an idiot and forget what I was going to do... so I go back to where I started and try to think what I forgot.

I have to say something a hundred times in my head while someone is talking just to remember a story LOL

I can totally relate. I often forget where I'm going in a story. If I get sidetracked, it's over! My friends laugh because they say that they have to raise their hands to ask me a question while I'm telling a story. It's almost like I can bookmark my story and then answer the question. If someone just starts talking, I'm completely at a loss. i think it's from too much going on in life.

You know it's bad when you walk into the bathroom and forget what you're there for. I can't begin to tell you how many times that happens to me!

That is the total picture of me all of the time. All the freakin' time!!!!! UUGGG!! Isn't it irritating? And then like, three or four hours later, after the conversations done, the person is gone, you remember where you were going with it. That's even worse. Oh well.

hi angela, me too, i forget what im talking about and takes a min to remember.....its is so frustrating, but you are def not alone, take care and feel better, my thoughts are with you

OMG YES!!! I hate it when it happens!! I usually just tell them "the train has left the building". I feel so dense when it happens.

JKR... I honestly did that last night LOL.

I walked upstairs and forgot I was going to use the bathroom cuz I had to pee bad but forgot I had to pee bad so I just went back downstairs, sat for a moment, and then was reminded. LOL

Yes I am guilty as well
I just tell peeps 'Opps sorry in my zone ' and thats all ....lol
I think it happens to everyone at some point or another not just A/P peeps

I hate the "go upstairs for something" then come back down and realize I didn't do what I went up there for!!! LOL Or the opposite, going up there then forgetting what I was going to do. My husband just shakes his head at me...LOL

Yes. I've even done this in front of my clients. I will be in the middle of explaining something to them and then go completely blank. It's very embarrassing. confused

Do any of you ever think about what it might seem like to other people? I always imagine people thinking that I must be high or just a dingbat. I don't know, maybe that's the anxiety talking.

Yes. I think the people that know me consider me a bright person, but I think this anxiety thing makes some people think i'm an airhead. eyes
