2 days until wedding...feeling like crud

I was doing ok.. But these last few days i just feel awful. I dont FEEL mentally anxious about getting married. Maybe its down deep. I havent been able to eat anything without it making me physically ill. Im shaking and my head hurts. My heart is pounding and i have awful chest pains and heart burn. Im so afraid im not going to feel well for the actually wedding or worse yet have a major panic attack at the alter. I know i wrote a thread similar to this a few days ago ..but talking about it relieves some of the stress. I just want the day to go ok. I have to run around and do about a million things tomorrow and Im just hoping i do drop dead of a heart attack while doing those things. I know kind of sounds silly but thats exactly how i feel. Anyway, hope everyone is doing ok!

I have only been a member here a week or so, so I do not know your whole story, but I just wanted to send some good thoughts your way! I am getting married in May and I am a mess about it! I cannot imagine feeling like I do now and actually getting married! My heart races and skips constantly! You will be fine and gorgeous on your big day! I would definitely take some meds to relax you or at least take the edge off!

Congratulations.  You'll be fine and if you seem anxious... so what we are only human.  Are you going away on a honeymoon?  If so, think of that.  It should calm you down.  You'll do great and I'm sure you will be making your soon to be spouse a very happy man.

It's very normal to feel this way before a wedding.  Try not to be so hard on yourself (I know easier said than done!!!) Just eat small meals, keep busy and try and focus on the positive things (honeymoon, cake!!).  This is a special time for you, but it is stressful, even the most laid-back people can panic at this time.  I wish you all the best and am thinking of you. Congratulations to both of you on your weddings. This should be one of the happiest days of your lives. I'm so happy for both of you.

 

Please don't be affraid your going to have a panic attack in the middle of your wedding. You will be so full of happeness and love you really won't have time to think about those thoughts. I got married 15 years ago and got thru it just fine of course there were some tears but it wouldn't be a wedding without them...lol

I'm so phobic of committment, marriage, relationships, etc., that I'm an "old maid" of 42! So just the fact that you have a special someone is a lot! Go get married and don't look back!!! ;)

Hunniebee, I remember feeling that way 22 years ago when I was getting married - and I was 20 years old and never even HEARD of P/A back then! I'm sure once the day comes and all the arranging and organizing is done that you will feel better and do fine!

I believe you will have the best day ever and yes you will be beautiful .........my first marrige was 32 yrs ago and I remeber it so well and yes the tears too ( wear waterproof mascara)

I am recently married, and I can tell you that the nervousness is TOTALLY normal! I felt the same way you did before I got married, but as soon as the minister came and told me it was "time", it all melted away because I realized I was about to walk down the aisle towards a man that I love so much. I promise you the anxiety will go away - and whoever said thinking about your honeymoon will help was very right! :)

CLINK (that was the champagne glasses for your toast). I hope all goes well for you and your new husband. Try to remember to breath deeply if you are feeling a little stressed. Congratulations.
