celexa/lexapro and toprol?

Hi...

I have G.A.D., Panic Disorder and Agoraphobia. I have been on a blood pressure med for 6 weeks now... and I may be starting Celexa or possibly lexapro... does anyone know if you are able to take both meds together? I go to the Dr. on Tuesday. Have been worrying about it though...

by both meds together... i meant the toprol and either one or the other anti depressants.

I am sure if your doc is going to put you on them it should be okay
Always ask QUESTIONS
IMO there is no such thing as a stupid question
You want to make sure it is safe and for that I am glad

I take Celexa and Metoprolol without any problems. Ask your pharmicist if you still have questions.

many people take both , toprol is a beta blocker which is usually the best type of BP med for anxiety sufferers as these alone reduce blushing, sweating and other physical anxiety problems, sadly many docs dont think of this and its common to find an anxiety sufferer on some other type of BP med
