welcome
valium as needed is very helpful. a low dose can sedate you strongly until you get used to it, try halving a tablet and see how it effects you now
valium is excellent for dealing with a panic attack, just disolve a tablet under the tongue for fast help, many carry a tablet with us whenever out, just in case
derealisation can be stopped by squeezing your keys or anything sharp in your hand until it hurts and concentrating on the pain, its a common anxiety related problems
I usually had derealisation after my panic attacks and disnt know where I was or how I got there for a while
swallowing problems are common from stress, chew the food well, distract yourself and you will swallow without realising it, the swallowing reflex is automatic and will happen if you stop worrying about it
your panic attacks, etc wont go away in time , you need to learn new ways of relaxing and coping with stress, get some self help books on overcoming panic disorder and agoraphobia and study them closely, I wouldnt bother with a psychiatrist or therapist, as everything you need to know is in the books, and theya re much cheaper
a panic attack often happens when you feel detained or trapped and unable to leave
the prozac may eventually help a lot but many recover without this type of med, 20 IMO is too high a starting dose for an anxiety sufferer, I would cut the tablet and take 5 the first week, 10 the second week and then the 2o, if you change your mind ans decide to try it
valium goes well with it , btw
stay with us
