Bad, Bad, Bad Day...Scared

Today, I went around with mom and some friends, but felt bad mentally. I got teary/weepy, but managed to hide it from 2 friends. I was able to keep anxiety at bay somewhat, but depression was eating me up. I hated to let mom down, but I tod her I couldn't go eat as I had no appetite at all. She won't go w/o me. She's put on her "protective persona" where she withdraws from me somewhat. I know it must be hard on her too. It's just that when I'm going thru he**, I feel like I need her hugs more than ever, but she's a bit distant. We came home and I lay on the couch for over 3 hours, but then I got up and cleaned the bird's cage. I managed to eat a banana sandwich. I have such a headache right now and I feel like breaking down. I thought about calling the mental health clinic for another pdoc appt. to see if he'd change my AD. The paxil doesn't seem to be doing anything. I've been on 50mg for a little over a month now. When I went to pdoc on Monday, he wanted to give it more time...I don't know what to do. I can't call until Tuesday now, if I should call. I'm having a hard time putting one foot after the other and wish I could just go to sleep and...well, I'm so tired and scared. It seems never-ending. No more xanax for the anxiety and now the depression is getting worse too.

If the Paxil doesn't seem to be helping then for sure talk to your pdoc about another AD.

*HUGS* I'm having a bad day too.. been in tears half the day and down... so I'm here for you... and right where you are... (mentally)

I haven't done much today really... I painted a bit and lost motivation so I just went and laid in the tub for a while... took a bubble bath... kinda soothed my sadness ...

maybe you should try that? Get the bubble bath stuff... I even laughed a couple times cuz I kept slipping in the tub.. hehe

I took my dogs on a car ride too... that helped as they were making me laugh... they're nothing but trouble together..

still feeling a bit down but kind of okay...

I can join you two on this one! Anxiety isnt bad, but am so down. Maybe it's the after Christmas blues...

God bless you. My father came close to death with Pneumonia this week and he made it through. My wife and I are going through some financial troubles until next week. I also am worrying about my heart palpitations (even though I know I shouldn't ). All this said, I am down as well, but am pushing through. Get well!

I do believe it is got to do with Christmas and holidays a big part of it anyways
Janet sweetie you might need a new med give it til tusday and see sometimes takes 4 to 6 weeks or improvement to show
