Howlyncat, Scaredycat, Hopefulmigrainer, a.l., and all you caring people. I sure have missed everybody today. I have been in bed for the most of the day. When I was in the pre-op room yesterday getting ready for my operation all the Nurses and Doctors were coughing and sneezing and complaining about
the bug they caught. Well guess who else they gave it to. I have coughed until I ripped a couple of stitches out. Boy you talking about
bringing tears to your eyes ouch!
I have been sitting here reading the various postings and I hope you people are as proud of yourselves as you should be. I came to this forum from Cronic Pain because I had some drug induced panic attacks. I can't say I'm glad I had the panic attacks, but as you will often see me write, something awful good came out of a bad situation. I'm getting to know some of the Kindest, Bravest, and Caring people in the world.
Folks I learned at a very young age in the Army that there is strength in numbers. As long as everybody will continue to take a few moments out of there lives each day and reach out to someone who is hurting and as long as those who are hurting will let us know when they are hurting, I promise everything will work out. You people give some great advise. You combine that with the prayers and anybody who doesn't find help here is either not looking for help or is unwilling to help themselves.
Boy I was really hurting when I sat down here and after seeing all the compassion, how in the world am I going to complain about a few ripped stitches. A few moments in the emergency room tomorrow and I'll be in fine shape.
Well I need to get back in bed but I sure do feel better after seeing everybody helping each other. May God bless all of you and I'll be back tomorrow, stronger than today.
Thanks Again,
Eric
