Count your blessings...

Every day we think of all the bad and stress and hustle bustle of life....Let us all to take the time to count some of the positives we are grateful for.

I am grateful for my HW family
I am grateful for the support my bf gives
I am grateful for my family and those who have become like family.
I am grateful I woke up this morning
I am grateful that I have plenty of food to eat and a roof over my head...

What are things you are grateful for that many people daily may lack or not have on a daily basis?

Harry you struck a chord

I worked during the season for Salvation Army handing out toys and food to the ppl that would have had nothing some (2 ) had no stoves to cook the turkeys we got them stoves
Some had no hydro that was taken care of
I want to say I have done alot more but ya know I cannot take the credit
Sally Ann is a great place and helps out many I have seen it with my own eyes for yrs
Yes we have anxiety /Panic / Depression and other diseases
BUT we do wake up to a new day every day and I have what I need to look after my daughter and do what I can for her
I am not hurting for anything and I know some ppl are actually
many more than acknowledged

I hear ya there hun and I do so agree the sounds of my birds even ( ya I know they are noisy but,...)
The love and huggs from my daughters all this past while
The care and support from u both

I do need to stop and think about what I am grateful for more often....

I am grateful that I have a wonderful, loving husband who would do anything for me.
I am grateful that I have three great daughters that love me and are all really great kids.
I am grateful that I have a job I enjoy, it may not pay much, but it does make me feel better about myself.
I am grateful that I have a roof over my head and food in the house and cars that run well and get me though the awful snows we have been having.
I am grateful that I have friends that care about me and whom I care about.
I am grateful that I have a new day to get up to and enjoy everything that I do have.

Glad to see the things you all are greatful for...It is always great to see you all to look on the positive side...

I am now grateful that that car that came through our fence, ripped apart our deck, took out the smoker and grill, broke the glass in the sliding glass door, and then hit the swing set and moved it off it's foundation...it's a big wooden one.....wasn't worse than what it was.
I am grateful that no one in my home was hurt, nor was the 19 year old driver.
I am grateful that the car didn't end up in my house, if you look at the tracks she was aiming to hit right through the sliding glass door, but a big rock shifted her wheels and turned it just enough.
I am grateful that Mr. Bunny that lives under our deck is ok, silly I know, but he's like a part of the family now.
I am grateful that I can look at the bright side of all of this when I look at my back yard and see wood and metal all over the place.
I am a bit anixous about the fact that I have no glass in my door and a snow storm coming on Friday with highs only in the teens. YIKES!

Thanks, at the very least it has given me something else to focus on! We got the door boarded up more and have heavy plastic that we are going to put inside and out before the cold comes on Friday. Just another day in my family. LOL
