Jen I found that with the more kids I had and with length between last son ( passed away yrs ago ) and Cait who is now a teen I was in excrutiating pain just like you
I still get where my toes will curl totally in and leg muscles cramp right up to the point I am in tears too
Try having a relaxing tubby prior to bed or when you get the chance ( all those kids wow) and try learning some breathing and self coping skills as well
The relaxation skills I am getting down are finally strating to work for me .........
I have a HOT milk at night and it works I have proven this theory to Normal ( mod) she came to visit at Christmas and is med free to help her relax ( I was with IV and at hospital constantly) she would drink hot milk at night has a natural ingredient that is activated when heated a lil cinnamn or a touch ( just) on top will help the taste but I feel it wash over and relax me to go into a good calming sleep most night if I have to I will take med for bed and still have my milk I dont go a night w/o it ..sometimes I get Cait to rub legs for me and it helps My mom was the same way
