Hi Eric
I really don't know how or why it is that pain killers to tend to stop the fatigue and I too have to take a nap daily from fatigue but when on the pain killers I do seem to be more alert and have more energe with awhole lot less anxiety with them then with SSRI's but the SSRI's do last all day where pain killers are only short lived. My only guess is that the pain killers function in the brain stops the pain as well as the part that makes us fatigue as well, where SSRI's tend to function in a differant way in the brain and not triggering that part that gives us the fatigue but I really don't think that pain killers is the way to go, as your body would tend to need stronger pain killers if one ever got hurt and not to said the dependentsy (sp) on the body and the body's function.
But like I said when I had my knee surgery and had a cast on I was just going to town pounding nails, when framing the walls on my house where without them it would have taken day's to do one wall.
Cowboy up
