Blood Pressure Help.

Has anyone experienced elevated blood pressure while on Citalapram or other SSRI's. I am 28 and my blood pressure was 140 over 90.

Hi Joe, I experienced high blood pressure whilst taking a high dose of venlafaxine (effexor). Your blood pressyre isn't dangerously high but I would talk to your doctor about this. Sometimes blood pressure can raise with anxiety and stress aswell. My doctor reduced my meds slightly and this problem went away for me. If you are young, fit and healthy, don't worry too much but ask your doctors advice about what to do.
