Hello all again - I haven't posted since April 13 or so because I FINALLY did start my new full-time job and I've been busy, busy, busy ever since! It all worked out fine though - and I love my new job even though there's much to learn and alot to remember. I never have an extra minute to spare (my new boss is great, but very "needy"). I will say one thing about
work though - if it's busy enough, it keeps your mind occupied and the anxiety isn't so overwhelming (I guess what they say about
work being very therapeutic is right). I just wanted to say thank you all again for supporting me through my neurotic behavior when i was trying to land this job (and sure I wouldn't) because that support got me through.....I thought i would drop out before even starting. I was nervous as hell the first few days but everyone was very helpful and friendly and after a week or so I began to actually feel "comfortable." No major screwups so far but I keep waiting for that to happen (always the negative thoughts).
I wish I could spend more time on the site because it really has done wonders for me and I know I still am burdened by a certain amount of anxiety, depression and fear but the job takes up my entire day and I'm usually too tired to post at night. I'll certainly be on here whenever I can, however, and I wish you all the best in our constant journey for mental and emotional health.
