I agree there are no doctors here but patients should always check their meds doses in case any mistakes have been made
the usual dose range of any med is available by asking a pharmacist or looking it up on the net
mistakes are made, for example a doc may start a patient on an antidepressant at half the lowest effective dose, to help them get used to it, and then forget to raise the dose later, so the med never gets a chance to work
a doc may record that the patient is already taking an antidepressant, but not realise its for cronic pain managment and the dose is much too low to help for depression or anxiety
when asked for details of the meds you take, always give the doses too
