A Question About Doctors

Hi. First and foremost I am NOT a rasist of any nature. I am however wondering about something. I find that all the psyciatrists in my area are from Eastern Indian decent, example: India, etc. Why is this?

I have found the same thing in my area and I am not racist either I am Native Canadian
From my understanding over in India and places like China they will go to school and become what they want
and when they are done school their gov will tell them what to do especially the Chinese .........sad
It was like this many yrs ago I dont know if it still is ......
Also coming to another Country they must do the exams that that country has set for all PDOCS ......

I think Most East Indian Pdocs are quite interested in HOW and what makews the mind work the way it does ....

I hope I dont sound rude this is just what I remeber from yrs ago in Nursing school and lectures

The US has lots and lots and lots of quality colleges and graduate schools, and I'm assuming these people come over here for their education and just decide they'd rather stay.

I became friendly with a lot of Japanese kids when I went to college. Surprisingly, they don't have very many good colleges even in Japan (that surprised me, anyway), and a lot of them really hated to go back home. Some of them stayed even after they graduated and their student visas expired. They're probably on terrorist watchlists right now because of that, haha.

But yeah, if one graduates with an engineering degree or from medical school, they're not going to have much trouble staying over here legally. Our government doesn't just take "the tired, the poor, the huddled masses" anymore. They take the best and brightest and leave all others to sneak in, pretty much.
