Thanks everyone for caring, I actually got to go home after lunch yesterday (Monday). My pdoc said I'd done so well considering I reduced the clonazepam, added a blood pressure med and started on zyprexa. He now wants me to level out for a couple of weeks and see what happens before tweaking my meds again.
I found myself earlier having to label my thoughts as just that, as I was home alone and the rotten things started coming on. I actually found a really nice nurse this time who I could explain my thoughts too and she really reassured me that they were normal part of depression/ anxiety. I was also taught another technique to label thoughts so hopefully they won't become to overwhelming.
It's basically picturing a conveyor belt and your thoughts move along it. Picture also 3 boxes, 1 judgement, 1 worry, and 1 planning. I then see a giant boot stomp on the thought to squash it then boot it into it's correct box. If you do it for say 10minutes it can often help with slowing the thoughts down or completely away.
Harry I've been put on coversyl, but still need to see the doc next week to get the kidneys checked.
