Weak feeling around chest(heart)

Hi Everyone,

My husband gets anxiety/panic attacks everyday. Lately he says he has this weak feeling around his upper chest, near his heart. He plans on seeing a cardiologist to rule anything out but till then, I wanted to ask if anyone else gets a similiar weak feeling around their chest? Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

Thank you for the welcome, I have been enjoying your forum for awhile now, just haven't posted alot in this section but have quite a few posts here. I think I have maybe 121 posts and have been asking questions for some time now. My post as I had written was for my husband and as I said he was going to see a cardiologist.
I read what you bumped up and everyone said they were experiencing SHARP chest pains. I would like to hear from someone that has had a weak feeling. I am aware of the sharp chest pains that accompany anxiety. This is not answering my question. I appreciate your reply though.
If there is someone that gets panic/anxiety attacks and has felt a weakness around their chest or heart area, I'd like to hear from them. Thank you.

Thank you again for the welcome. I never thought you sounded demeaning to me in any way. Unfortunately the post you brought up, which itself was titled "sharp chest pain" had people only speaking of sharp chest pains. It would be good to hear from someone who had a similar experience as my husband, but if not that's ok too. This has nothing to do with the topic but I was just curious how new you were if you've posted almost 500 times, just an observation, no big deal. I've posted on a few of the threads in this forum I believe, one I remember being lexapro and I believe a few others, asking advise for my husband and have always had nice people helping me, so thanks again.
