O/T need some advice..not on subject of panic attacks PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am some what new on here, I love this site it has helped me alot with my panic attacks, but im writing about something different today, my son Jason was going to a daycare center he is 3 and half, he came home and told me the other day, let me show you what annmarie(his teacher) showed me how to do today. So i said ok, I then picked him up and he started making out with me, I said what are you doing, he said that is what annmarie showed me today, he also told me that annmarie hits him all the time. so i called the school and wanted him transfered to another classroom. The school said no....so i took him out, is there anything i can do about this teacher? I dont want this to happen to another child. please help

YES there is
REPORT her to Board of education and child protection agency ....thats what I would do and call in the cas or whatever they call child protection service and have them come and talk to Jason' in your home let them ask him questions about this teacher and what she has " shown " him
OMG
I would have flipped right out and gone to that teacher but you went about it the proper way
DO NOT let her get away with this and I am so proud of you for being able to deal with this especially with a/p
OUR children are our most precious gifts and SHE should not be a teacher if this is what she is showing kids
I wonder just how many other kids in her class have been thru this and have NOT said anything to Parents 'it shows you have a great rapport and open communication with your son

Call the police and file a report immediately. Child molestation must be reported to the police.

Thanks guys I am going to do all that, Something has to be done about this, the school dosent care at all what this teacher is doing, my son also told me that annmarie showed antonio how to do this to, and she hits him to, that is jason's best friend, so im gonna have a talk with his mother, and the rest of the mothers, They should know what is going on, Thank you for you help, again I love this site.

You hope that things like this never happen to your child or to anybody else's. It makes you wonder who's out there watching what is going on?
The Department of Education maintains it aggressively goes after abusive teachers. However, inadequate tracking of teachers, incomplete criminal background checks and poor communication among schools, courts and law enforcement agencies have allowed potentially abusive teachers to slip through the cracks, according to reports I have read.
You were right in calling the school and removing your child.
Calling the police and filing charges against this teacher is the best way to get the ball rolling. Also contact your School District Superintendent, the State Board of Education and Child Protection Services.
You may want to consult with an attorney of your own to see what else might be done?

You are a wonderful Mother and I am so proud of you for making the best decisions today.

hello all, sorry it has taken me awhile to get back to you all, been busy with work, my son, and all this drama, so i called cps they are going to investergate this situation, and i have called a couple of lawyers still waiting on that, my son is very upset about this, an dgets upset everytime i try to talk to him about it, i feel so bad for him, i just want that lady punished for what she has done to my son, well thanks for listening, enjoy your day

All of the above, and obviously if you're from a larger city the school district will have its own police and they should be contacted, too. And if you really want resolution QUICKLY, the best thing to do is call the media. That has a way of speeding things up.

Good to hear from you. I am so sorry that your son is going through this.

I do hope that you can get things rolling on this teacher quickly as she should not be allowed to be around children until the investigation is completed.

I was horrified, as any parent should be, to hear about this. As an educator (18 years in the public schools and 7 at the universtiy level) we are all aware this happens and is absolutely inexcusable. I would never make excuses for any teacher, any adult in the position to harm our children. I am in agreement that the police be called immediately and then psychological/psychiatric help for you and your son just as immediately. The school will very likely offer these services, but I would advise against that and get your own professional help. Besides turning this event over to the police, removing your child from the situation, the next most important thing is to get professional counseling for your son. Immediately!! My heart breaks and my blood boils in anger. Best to you.

THERE has to be a quicker way to get this all finally settled and your son feeling some safety in his
life
I am so sorry he and you are going thru this
I would have been at papers well everywhere possible to get something done immediately ................
I know you have many other things on your plate and caring for Jason is a top prioity right now
